Good
Relations

It’s what we’re for

Improving community relations was Holywell Trust’s founding mission, and it’s as relevant now as it was then.

We have a variety of approaches to our Good Relations work, most of them in collaborations with other organisations. We are always trying to innovate and find newer, more relevant ways to bridge the gaps between communities in our region, and across Northern Ireland.

Fingerpost

Fingerpost is Holywell Trust’s community magazine, highlighting thoughtful pieces on important themes and social concerns. Fingerpost is published in series, and while new series are being developed our archive remains available.

Garden Of Reflection

The Garden Of Reflection is a beautiful courtyard behind our building that we manage in partnership with the Inner City Trust. During the summer it becomes a wonderful venue for cross-community events.

Lunchtime Events

We regularly put on lunchtime events, when experts and community leaders deliver talks and workshops on Good Relations themes. These events are an expression of one of Holywell Trust’s principal aims to encourage community education.
